UnCoverIt is great, but I see a need to be able to save to eps in addition to printing.

You can export EPS-Files using Apple's LaserWriter printer driver which comes with your system software.
To do this select LaserWriter 8 in the chooser application, which you find the Apple menu. In UnCoverIt select "Print…" from the "File" menu. Locate the "Destination" Popup-menu and choose "File…". Now an EPS-File is generated when you hit the "Save…" - Button.

The vertical text on the side panes looks jaggy. Why isn't it smoothed?

UnCoverIt tells your printer driver to draw rotated text on the side panes. Its up to your printing driver how rotated text is handled. On PostScript printers text appears smoothed, on QuickDraw based printers its jaggy. Of course there are ways to print out smoothed text on QuickDraw based printers, too. But the author thinks it isn't worth the huge effort to implement this feature. If you really can't live without smoothing text you have two options. First: Consider buying a PostScript printer. Second: Use the Apple LaserWriter to create an EPS-File as described above.

Can I distribute UnCoverIt on my CD-ROM or web site?

Yes, under two conditions. Firstly, you may only distribute the unregistered version. Secondly, you must include the entire package (including documentation, etc...). The easiest way to fulfil these is to download the program from my web site, and distribute it unmodified.
